Tunes is a rehearsal and recording studio that acts in the interest of local music by providing affordable practice space, excellent quality pre-production, voice-over, album, EP and single recordings, mixing and mastering. Tunes Studio offers retail in music equipment and accessories courtesy of Paul Bothner, as well as music lessons including drums & percussion, electric & acoustic guitar, bass guitar, vocal and keyboard.

Tim Lengfeld is a German born mastering engineer with a biography of note, who moved to South Africa in High School. Whilst busy studying a B.A degree at the University of Stellenbosch he started transferring DAT tape audio to CD. He also met Jurgen von Wechtmar (Sunset Studio) during that time and started experimenting with making audio louder and brighter. Tim talks about his studio set up; the mastering process; some tips for young mixing engineers in terms of preparing your product for mastering, interesting work experiences and much more.
